Megan Johnston

Hi, I'm Megan Johnston, a biochemist turned organizational chemist. I specialize in helping early-stage businesses establish and mature strategic execution capabilities through right-sized operations design and strategic clarity. After a 20 year career in project management I've worked across many industries, organizations, and cultures. This diverse experience helped ground my work in value-driven delivery. I'm looking for contract and fractional work and have capacity for up to 25 hours per week at present. I'm remotely based in Kelowna BC with easy in-person contact with companies in Vancouver and Calgary and periodic hybrid availability for Montreal or Toronto.

- Helped various organizations raise a total of $15M in funding through private and grant-based sources
- Designed the technical submission for the successful initial FDA clearance of one of the first AI-based medical imaging software products
- Built a project management system that supported the successful on-time delivery of a $7B construction program
- Realized the idea for a patient registry in rare diseases that supported over 5,000 patients in Canada to access novel research studies (300+ and counting)
