I am a R&D Engineer and technical consultant with over 18 years of experience in the energy industry and academia. My expertise includes research and development in oil & gas and geothermal energy, drilling data analysis, grant and technical writing, and technical presentations.

Throughout my career, I have worked with universities, the energy sector, and diverse teams to develop innovative technologies and technical writing. My strong technical knowledge and communication skills enable clients to perform complex engineering analyses and present results effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

I spent nearly 10 years as an R&D Engineer in the energy sector, collaborating with companies such as Shell Global, Pason Systems and National Oilwell Varco to develop oil and gas drilling optimization solutions. Recently, I've focused on geothermal energy solutions, including rock-strength prediction for hard-rock well drilling.

Additionally, I have held research and postdoctoral positions at the University of Calgary, Western University, and Gifu University. My work there involved oil & gas research projects, real-time decision-making software, geomechanical property studies, data analysis, grant applications, technical papers, and mentoring researchers.

Alongside my research, I have taught undergraduate and graduate engineering courses and received a Teaching Award for excellence in instruction and mentorship.
