I’m Melinda Barss, an intuitive energy healer, transformational author, and integrative mental health expert with over 20 years of professional writing experience. I specialize in soulful storytelling, spiritual healing, and mental wellness advocacy for people of all ages.

With a dual academic background in Psychology and English (St. Francis Xavier University, 2008), I have created content for government, nonprofit, and spiritual communities—ranging from ministerial policy documents to trauma-informed healing resources, children’s books, and bestselling personal growth titles.

My journey as a healer began through near-death experiences and a personal spiritual awakening, which led me to energy medicine, Taoist philosophy, and becoming a certified Reiki Master Teacher. Since then, I’ve guided individuals on their healing paths through Reiki attunements, spiritual coaching, and transformational content.

As the founder of Healing Light Press and Healing Light Natural Health, I produce empowering tools—books, audiobooks, guided meditations, and spiritual workbooks—for emotional recovery, intuitive awakening, and personal transformation.
