Joanne Raymond

Joanne Raymond is a lawyer, mediator, and Notary Public.  Called to the bar in 2020 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law school,  I have practiced for 4 years as a generalist lawyer, focusing on governance, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation and review. I am a notary public with 5 years experience reviewing and signing a wide variety of documents for within Canada as well as for many other countries.

Before my current career, I worked for 5 years at a Canadian University as the laboratory coordinator for the first year biology laboratories, coordinating the teaching assistants, schedules, resources and exams for up to 2200 students. I also worked for 9 years in the animal ethics office in regulatory compliance for the use of animals in reasearch and teaching, including creating documentation such as standard operating procedures and liaising between administration, animal care personnel, researchers, and oversight bodies for inspections, reports, and follow up.

I have a broad experience base that I apply to analyze and integrate information and find solutions. I will apply my expertise and thoughtful approach to your project.
